Lunch Box Edamame
The protein in edamame can fuel afternoon activities, making it a great addition to your kid’s (or your own!) lunch box. With a little added flavor thanks to garlic and soy sauce, this dish is sure to satisfy and satiate.

Ingredients
- 1/2 (10 oz.) bag frozen microwaveable edamame
- 1 tsp. Schnucks canola oil
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 tsp. Schnucks less-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Microwave edamame according to package directions.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and stir in garlic; cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in edamame and soy sauce until coated. Season with salt, if desired. Serve with tomatoes, oranges, string cheese, yogurt or other nutritious side.
