Ground Beef Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 93% lean ground beef
  • 4 tsp. taco seasoning
  • 12 corn tortillas, warmed
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cotija cheese, grated
  • 2 limes, quartered

Instructions

  1. Heat a large sauté pan over medium–high heat. Add ground beef, using a spatula to crumble into pieces. Cook, stirring often, until starting to brown, about 8–10 minutes.
  2. Add taco seasoning and stir well to combine. Cook 2–3 minutes, until beef is evenly browned.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of water to pan. Stir until combined, 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Serve taco meat in warmed corn tortillas. Top with tomatoes, red onion and cheese. Garnish with limes (if desired).
