Gingered Hot Cider

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons
  • 4 cups Schnucks apple cider
  • 2 cups Schnucks soda shoppe ginger beer
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • ginger, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Juice 1 lemon and cut another lemon into slices. In a medium pot over medium-high heat, bring apple cider, ginger beer, cinnamon sticks and lemon juice to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5–10 minutes. Discarding cinnamon sticks, divide among 6 mugs and serve garnished with lemon slices and thinly shaved fresh ginger.
