Easy Cheesy Sloppy Joe Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. 80%-lean ground beef
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Schnucks sloppy joe sauce
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. King's Hawaiian original rolls
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. Schnucks sliced sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup Schnucks butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. Schnucks Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp. Schnucks garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. Schnucks grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. Schnucks Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. Schnucks poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 13x18-inch sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Drain. Stir sloppy joe sauce into skillet with ground beef; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Halve buns and transfer bottoms to prepared sheet pan. Top with sloppy joe mixture, cheddar and bun tops.
  4. In a medium bowl, stir together butter, Dijon, garlic powder, Parmesan and Worcestershire. Brush mixture over buns, then sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake, covered with foil, until cheese is melted, 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

Chef tip: Want to prep ahead of time? Make sloppy joe mixture up to 4 days ahead and refrigerate. Assemble sliders just before baking for best texture and flavor.
