Apple Crisp With Oat-Almond Topping
Warm up your evening with this sweet treat! Tender Honeycrisp apples are baked under a perfectly crunchy oat, almond and sourdough topping.

Ingredients
- 4 medium Honeycrisp apples, peeled, cored and diced
- 2 tbsp. Culinaria pure maple syrup, divided
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. Food Club corn starch
- 3 tsp. Schnucks cinnamon, divided
- 1 cup Schnucks old-fashioned oats
- 1 cup bite-size pieces Schnucks sourdough bread
- 1/2 cup Schnucks chopped almonds
- 2 tbsp. Schnucks brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp. Schnucks butter, melted
- 1/2 cup Schnucks nonfat plain Greek yogurt, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Coat an 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, toss together apples, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, almonds, the lemon juice, cornstarch and 1 teaspoon cinnamon until evenly coated. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
- In same bowl, stir together oats, bread, almonds, brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir in melted butter and remaining maple syrup until evenly moistened. Sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake until apples are tender and topping is golden brown, 30–35 minutes. Let cool 10 minutes before serving topped with yogurt and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, if desired.
