Toasted Cheese Tortellini Bites

Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen Schnucks cheese tortellini
- 1 1/4 cups Schnucks flour
- 1/2 tsp. Schnucks black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. Schnucks garlic powder
- 5 Schnucks eggs
- 1/4 cup Schnucks 2% milk
- 2 1/2 cups Schnucks Italian-style panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Schnucks shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. Schnucks crushed red pepper
- 1 1/2 cups warmed Schnucks marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
- Cook tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain.
- Meanwhile, in a shallow bowl, stir together flour, black pepper and garlic powder. In another shallow bowl, whisk together eggs and milk until frothy. In a medium bowl, stir together panko, Parmesan and red pepper.
- Working in batches, dredge tortellini in flour mixture until well coated, dip in egg mixture until no flour is visible, then generously coat with panko mixture. Arrange one inch apart on prepared sheet pan.
- Bake until crisp and golden brown, 20–25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool five minutes. Serve with warm marinara.
