Sweet-and-Sour Braised Red Cabbage

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. Schnucks butter
- 1 small yellow onion, thinly sliced (about 3/4 cup)
- 1 small red cabbage, thinly sliced (about 6 cups)
- 1/2 cup Schnucks vegetable stock
- 1/4 cup Schnucks apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp. Schnucks honey
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in onion; cook until soft, 3–4 minutes. Stir in cabbage; cook until beginning to wilt, about five minutes. Stir in stock, cider vinegar and honey. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered and stirring occasionally, 15–20 minutes. Uncover and continue cooking until slightly thickened, 2–3 minutes more. Serve immediately.
