Summer Tomato and Watermelon Salad with Turmeric
Sometimes there’s nothing more refreshing than a cold, fruit salad on a hot day. This fruity salad is great for a quick lunch, picnics or backyard barbecues. Plus, it’s full of Dietitian Pick foods.

Ingredients
- 1 medium seedless red or yellow watermelon, rind removed and cubed (about 4 cups)
- 2-3 large heirloom tomatoes, diced
- 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 4 oz. crumbled feta
Instructions
- Gently mix all ingredients except for the feta. Let marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Top with feta and serve.
