Mac-And-Cheese Waffles
Put that leftover mac and cheese to good use! These waffles are cheesy and gooey inside but crispy on the outside, making for a super-satisfying meal. They’re sure to make leftover night more exciting for all involved.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Schnucks shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 1/4 cups mac and cheese, cooked and chilled
- 1 Schnucks large egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup Schnucks Italian-style breadcrumbs
- Sour cream, for garnish
- sliced green onion, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, stir together 1 cup cheddar and the chilled mac and cheese. Stir in beaten egg and breadcrumbs until combined.
- Coat a preheated waffle iron with cooking spray. Scoop 3/4 cup mac mixture into center of waffle iron and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon cheddar. Cook until golden and crispy, about 5 minutes.
- Repeat to make 3 more waffles. Serve warm, garnished with sour cream and green onion. If desired, add a side of fruit.
