Reach for the Stars Sandwich
This sandwich gives you enough energy to reach for the stars.
- 2 slices wheat bread
- 1 slice white bread
- 2 oz. sliced ham
- 1 slice Colby-Jack cheese
- 1 piece leaf lettuce
- 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
- Using a small star-shaped cookie cutter, cut a star shape out of one of the whole wheat bread slices. Using a slightly larger star-shaped cookie cutter, cut a star shape out of the white bread slice.
- Place the larger star shape over the whole wheat bread star-shaped cut-out. Top with ham, cheese and leaf lettuce. Spread mayonnaise on the remaining wheat bread slice and place atop the lettuce, mayonnaise-side down. Flip sandwich over and serve.
- Reserve remaining white bread and wheat bread cut-out for another use.
