Ground Beef Grilled Cheese
A savory twist on a classic, this updated classic features seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, creamy sauce and toasty bread. It’s a comforting and hearty sandwich perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Schnucks 80%-lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup Schnucks diced green chiles
- 1 tbsp. Schnucks Steak & Chop 30-Minute Marinade
- 6 tbsp. Cluck Cluck Sauce (see notes)
- 12 slices Schnucks wheat sandwich bread
- 12 slices Schnucks American cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef, stirring to break
- up lumps, until browned, 5–8 minutes. Drain and return to heat. Stir in green chiles and Steak & Chop seasoning until combined, about 1 minute. Remove from heat.
- Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high. Spread Cluck Cluck Sauce on 6 slices of bread (about 1 tablespoon per slice). Top remaining 6 bread slices with cheese, then beef mixture, then sauced bread slices.
- Grill, flipping once, until bread is golden and cheese is melted, 3–5 minutes. Cut into halves and serve immediately.
