Grilled Shishito Peppers

These grilled peppers are mildly spicy, smoky, salty and garlicky. They make for an exciting and easy appetizer or side dish, perfect for sharing at gatherings.

Grilled Shishito Peppers

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. Schnucks less-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 3 (8 oz.) bags shishito peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat an outdoor grill to medium-high and oil grate.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons Schnucks less-sodium soy sauce and 2 teaspoons minced garlic.
  3. Arrange shishito peppers (from three 8 oz. bags) on grate perpendicularly.
  4. Grill, turning occasionally, until beginning to blister, 2–3 minutes. Immediately transfer to bowl with soy sauce and garlic; gently toss to coat.
