Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 1 tbsp. Schnucks garlic powder
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line two 13x18-inch sheet pans with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add chicken and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Stir until fully combined, then divide among prepared pans. Cover with plastic wrap and press to roll out mixture into an even, thin layer.
- Discarding plastic wrap, bake until browned and crispy, 35–50 minutes. Break into chips and serve garnished with cilantro.
Chef Tip 1: Feel free to swap in your favorite protein and seasonings to customize these chips. Try lean ground beef seasoned with 1 tablespoon smoked paprika and 1 teaspoon chili powder for a bold, smoky bite.
Chef Tip 2: Turn these chips into brown rice chips! Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and coat a 9x13-inch sheet pan with cooking spray. In a blender, add two cups cooked and cooled brown rice, 3/4 cup water, 1/4 cup flaxseed meal and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Blend until smooth and spread mixture in a thin layer onto prepared pan. Bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Break into bite-size pieces and serve immediately, garnished with sea salt.
