Classic Deviled Eggs

These Classic Deviled Eggs are a timeless favorite. A simple appetizer for any occasion, they have a perfectly creamy and tangy filling.

Classic Deviled Eggs


  • 6 Schnucks eggs
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. light mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 tsp. Schnucks yellow mustard
  • 1/8 tsp. Schnucks garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. Schnucks onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. Schnucks black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. Schnucks paprika, for garnish
  • 1 tsp. chopped green onion, for garnish


  1. In a medium pot, cover eggs with water and add vinegar. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Remove from heat, cover and let stand 12 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath and let cool completely. Peel and halve eggs. Transfer yolks to a medium bowl and thoroughly mash with a fork.
  3. In a medium bowl with mashed yolks, add mayonnaise, relish, mustard, garlic and onion powders, salt and black pepper. Stir until thoroughly combined, then pipe or spoon into egg halves. Garnish with paprika and green onion.
