BBQ & Buffalo Chicken Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (24 ct.) pkg. KING'S HAWAIIAN® Original Sweet Rolls
  • 3 lbs. shredded chicken (cooked)
  • 10 oz. BBQ sauce
  • 10 oz. buffalo sauce
  • 2.5 oz. cilantro
  • 1 jar dill pickle chips
  • 1/4 cup shredded mixed cheese
  • 1 red onion
  • 1 container blue cheese crumbles
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. To prep the sliders, cut off the tops of your King’s Hawaiian Original Rolls using a serrated knife, keeping the rolls interconnected.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls on a rimmed baking sheet.
  4. In two medium-sized bowls, portion out the cooked, shredded chicken evenly, approximately 1.5 pounds in each bowl.
  5. In one bowl, mix in 10 ounces of BBQ sauce and toss the chicken until it’s fully coated. In the other bowl, mix in 10 ounces of buffalo sauce and toss the chicken until it’s fully coated.
  6. Carefully place the BBQ chicken on the left half of your rolls and buffalo chicken on the right half.
  7. Layer on the dill pickle chips and sprinkle some blue cheese onto your buffalo chicken sliders. Then, add cilantro, red onion and shredded cheese to the BBQ chicken sliders.
  8. Place the partially assembled sliders in the preheated oven (top half of rolls will be added later). Bake for 17 minutes.
  9. Take the sliders out of the oven and add the top half of the slider buns. Brush the top buns with melted butter and bake your fully assembled sliders for an additional 6 minutes.
  10. Serve your sliders with sides of extra BBQ and buffalo sauce for dipping and top with fresh cilantro.
