Apple Cider Bourbon Fizz

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh apple cider
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup Schnucks packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Schnucks Private Stock Bourbon
  • 3 lemons, juiced (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup champagne or sparkling cider

Instructions

  1. In a small pot over medium-high heat, bring to a boil the apple cider, cinnamon stick and vanilla for about 20 minutes until it is reduced to 1 cup. Remove the cinnamon stick and stir in the brown sugar until dissolved. Let cool.   2. In a large pitcher, stir together the bourbon, cider syrup and lemon juice. For one serving, pour 4 ounces of the bourbon mixture over ice, top with 4 ounces of champagne, or cider and garnish with fresh cranberries and a cinnamon stick.
