The Salvation Army Round Up at the Register and Bellringers Return to Schnucks for the Holidays
One hundred percent of donations will support The Salvation Army’s imperative work in our communities
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 12, 2025 - Schnuck Markets, Inc. is continuing its decades-long partnership with The Salvation Army during the upcoming holiday season. Starting today and continuing through Wednesday, Nov. 26, Schnucks customers have the option to donate to The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign by rounding up at the register to the nearest dollar while shoppers who use self-checkouts may choose a $1, $3 or $5 “Scan and Give” option. Schnucks Rewards members can also donate their Schnucks Rewards points to The Salvation Army as part of the Donate Your Rewards program.
One hundred percent of the round-up donations will support The Salvation Army’s work directly in the communities in which they are donated. In 2024, Schnucks and its customers donated $200,000 to The Salvation Army as part of the round up campaign.
At the conclusion of the Round Up, Schnucks will welcome back The Salvation Army’s bell ringers and their iconic red kettles. Starting Friday, Nov. 28, and continuing through Wednesday, Dec. 24, bell ringers will return to all Schnucks stores, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
“Once again this holiday season, we welcome The Salvation Army at both our checkouts and our entrances,” said Schnucks Chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck. “We’re honored to partner with them as we work together to nourish people’s lives, and we thank our customers for their generous donations that they make at our stores to The Salvation Army each year.”
”Schnucks consistently shows up for our community, delivering more than meals,” said Major Adam Moore, General Secretary and Greater St. Louis Area Commander at The Salvation Army. “When it comes to fighting food insecurity, Schnucks works diligently to uplift our communities and deliver hope – from the tornadoes this spring and summer to the SNAP benefit changes. We are so grateful for their ongoing partnership and the generosity of Schnucks customers, which allow us to continue serving our most marginalized neighbors all year long.”
