ST. LOUIS, Oct. 8, 2025 - Fresh Creative Foods, a division of Reser’s Fine Foods, is recalling Schnucks Smoked Mozzarella Penne Salad because the product is potentially contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes*.

Customers of Schnucks stores in Missouri, Illinois and Indiana who have purchased this item are urged not to consume it and instead to dispose of it or return it to their nearest Schnucks for a full refund. *Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
