Breadcrumbs
→ Crushed Crackers

1 cup breadcrumbs = 1 cup crushed crackers



Cream of Tartar
→ Lemon Juice

1 tbsp. cream of tarter = 1 tbsp. lemon juice


Egg
→ Mayonnaise

1 egg = 1/4 cup mayonnaise


Honey
→ Sugar + Water

1 cup honey = 1/2 cup sugar + 1/2 cup water


Light Corn Syrup
→ Honey or White Sugar + Water

1 cup corn syrup = 1 cup honey or 1 cup corn syrup = 1 1/4 cups white sugar + 1/3 cup water


Broth
→ Stock or Vice Versa

1 cup broth = 1 cup stock



Lemon Juice
→ Vinegar or Vice Versa

1 cup lemon juice = 1/2 tsp. vinegar


Allspice
→ Cinnamon, Ginger + Cloves

1 tbsp. allspice = 1 tsp. cinnamon + 1 tsp. ginger + 1 tsp. cloves


Cornstarch
→ Flour

1 tbsp. cornstarch = 2 tbsp. flour


Mayonnaise
→ Yogurt

1 cup mayonnaise = 1 cup yogurt


Soy Sauce
→ Worcestershire Sauce + Water

1/2 cup soy sauce = 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce + 1 tbsp. water


Vegetable Oil
→ Applesauce

1 cup vegetable oil = 1 cup applesauce


Flour
→ Pancake Mix

1 cup flour = 1 cup pancake mix


Baking Powder
→ Baking Soda + Cream of Tartar

1 tbsp. baking powder = 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda + 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar


Brown Sugar
→ White Sugar + Molasses

1 cup brown sugar = 1 cup white sugar + 1/4 cup molasses, decrease liquid in recipe by 1/4 cup



Tomato Sauce
→ Tomato Paste + Water

1 cup tomato sauce = 1/2 cup tomato paste + 1/4 cup water


Chocolate
→ Cocoa + Butter

1 cup chocolate = 1/2 cup cocoa + 1/2 cup butter



Evaporated Milk
→ Light Cream

1 cup evaporated milk = 1 cup light cream


Ketchup
→ Tomato Sauce + Vinegar + Sugar

1 cup ketchup = tomato sauce + vinegar + sugar, to taste


Buttermilk
→ Plain Yogurt or Lemon Juice + Milk

1 cup buttermilk = 1 cup plain yogurt or 1 cup buttermilk = 1 tbsp. lemon juice + enough milk to make 1 cup
