Warm Orange-Cardamom Coffee Mocktail
This sophisticated mocktail blends aromatic coffee, bright citrus and warming cardamom. Served with warm whipped cream, it’s a cozy holiday drink, perfect for impressing your guests.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Schnucks sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp. crushed whole cardamom
- 2 cups brewed coffee
- 2 tbsp. Schnucks orange juice
- whipped cream, for garnish
- Culinaria 70% extra dark chocolate curls, for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring sugar and water to a light boil. Stir in crushed cardamom pods, remove from heat and let stand at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours, covered, at room temperature. Strain mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into an airtight container (refrigerated, this keeps up to 2 weeks).
- To each of 4 highball glasses, add 2 tablespoons cardamom mixture, 1/2 cup coffee and 1/2 tablespoon orange juice. Top with whipped cream. Serve warm, garnished with curls of orange peel and chocolate.
