Ground Pork and Cabbage Stir Fry 3 Ways

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 small onion, diced (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 small bell pepper, diced (about 1/3 cup)
  • 4 cups cabbage
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tsp. honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. minced ginger
  • 2 tsp. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp. sriracha

Instructions

  1. In a small dish, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, rice wine vinegar and sriracha. Set aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add Fresh Ground Pork to the hot skillet. Add salt, garlic powder and onion powder. Season to taste.
  3. Using a spatula break up the Fresh Ground Pork into small crumbles as it cooks. Brown the meat, cooking to an internal temperature of 160°F. Drain excess grease, leaving about one tablespoon in the pan.
  4. Add onions and peppers. Cook for about one minute until softened. Pour half the sauce over the ground pork, onions and peppers and stir until coated.
  5. Add the chopped cabbage to the skillet. Cook cabbage with ground pork just until the cabbage greens are wilted. Pour the remaining sauce over the stir fry.
  6. Serve hot over your favorite ramen noodles or serve hot over zucchini noodles.
