Ingredients
- 4 center-cut (New York) Pork Chops, about 1-inch thick
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 garlic cloves (minced) or 1 tbsp. of garlic paste
- 2/3 cup hot sauce
- 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- Dash cayenne pepper
- blue cheese dressing, optional
- Ranch dressing, optional
- fresh veggies, optional
Instructions
- Cut pork chops into equally sized cubes and place in a large bowl. Coat pieces evenly with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning and black pepper.
- Sprinkle spice mixture onto the chops and toss until evenly coated.
- Arrange the chops in the air fryer basket and cook on 390 degrees F for 6 minutes. Open the air fryer and turn each piece. Cook for an additional 3–4 minutes to an internal temperature of 145–160 degrees F. Remove from heat and allow a 3-minute rest. Set aside.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the garlic and sauté for about 25 seconds until soft and fragrant.
- Whisk in the hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, salt and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce will separate while cooking.
- Remove from heat and continue to whisk completely together. Add pork chops and coat generously with the sauce.
- Serve immediately. Serving ideas include blue cheese dressing, Ranch dressing and fresh veggies like carrots, celery sticks and cherry tomatoes.
