All American Crunchy Beef Tacos are too irresistible to miss! Crunchy taco shells are filled with ground beef, lettuce, tomato and melted Chihuahua® Brand Quesadilla Cheese from V&V Supremo®.

All American Crunchy Beef Tacos


  • 2 1/4 cups V&V Supremo® shredded quesadilla cheese, divided
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. hot Mexican style chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 12 packaged crunchy taco shells
  • 1/2 head of lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • taco sauce, to serve
  • sour cream, to serve


  1. In a small bowl; combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, chili powder and cumin. Stir until seasonings are well-mixed and set aside until needed.
  2. Preheat a skillet for 2 minutes over medium-high heat. Add spice blend, crumble beef with a spoon and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes covered.
  3. Continue to crumble beef occasionally while cooking until beef reaches an internal temperature of 155°F.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, add 2 cups V&V Supremo® shredded quesadilla cheese, and stir until cheese is melted. Cover and set aside until needed.
  5. Heat crunchy taco shells according to instructions on package.
  6. Fill crunchy taco shells with cheesy ground beef, lettuce and tomato.
  7. Serve All-American Crunchy Beef Tacos topped with remaining 1/4 cup cheese, your favorite taco sauce and sour cream.
