Total Store Remodels Now Complete at Two Evansville Schnucks Locations
Both stores to host a customer appreciation event
EVANSVILLE, Ind., April 1, 2024 - Upgrades and renovations at both Schnucks Green River, 3501 North Green River Road (47715), and Schnucks Evansville West, 4500 West Lloyd Expressway (47712) are now complete. Each store will host a customer appreciation event to thank customers for their patience during construction.
“Schnucks has served the Evansville community for nearly 50 years, and we remain committed to offering our dedicated customers the best grocery shopping experience possible,” said Schnucks Division Manager Stephen Rennels. “We invite them to not only stop by to check out the renovations and improvements but to also join us for each store's respective customer appreciation event.”
Green River: Highlights of the Green River remodel include:
- Renovated & expanded deli and floral departments
- Renovated bakery, produce, seafood and meat departments
- Expanded dairy department
- Expanded interior aisles
- New lighting throughout the fresh area
- Electronic shelf labels throughout the store
- New e-commerce area
Customer Appreciation Event:
On Sunday, April 7, teammates at the Green River store will welcome customers with an in-store sampling event. Customers are invited to stop by, check out the store’s new enhancements and enjoy complimentary samples.
The 63,000-square-foot Green River store opened in 2003 and currently employs 90 teammates.
Evansville West: Highlights of the Evansville West remodel include:
- Relocated deli department
- Expanded produce, bakery, meat and seafood department (now including fresh sushi)
- New energy-efficient refrigeration systems
- New lighting and ceilings throughout the fresh area
- Electronic shelf labels throughout the store
- New e-commerce area
- New acoustic ceiling tiles throughout
Customer Appreciation Event
On Monday, April 8, teammates of the Evansville West store will host an eclipse event on the store’s parking lot as well as an in-store sampling event that will include product giveaways.
The 62,000-square-foot Evansville West store opened in 1989 and currently employs 106 teammates.
Schnucks began serving the Evansville community in 1977 and currently operates six stores in the area and a seventh Indiana store in Jasper. In total, the seven stores employ 673 teammates.
