The Summers Family
Recipient Name: Alexia Summers

Goals: Alexia isn’t sure what she wants to be when she grows up, but thinks a YouTuber would be fun!
United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Eric W. Summers served his nation honorably for 13 years as a ground radio repairman and an EOD technician. During his service, SSGT Summers deployed twice to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and twice to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom. Some of his awards include the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat Distinguishing Device, the Navy and Marine Corp Achievement Medal, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal and many others. SSGT Summers was killed in 2013. He loved being a Marine, golfing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. His family says that he didn’t let a deployment get in the way of his golf game as he was known to hit golf balls in the desert when he was deployed.
The Conor Family
Recipient Name: Noah Connor

Hobbies: Dinosaurs, playing soccer and being outdoors
United States Army Staff Sergeant Miguel R. Connor served his nation honorably for nearly 20 years as a Unit Supply Specialist. SSG Connor came to the U.S. from Tinidad and Tobago as an 18-year-old and enlisted shortly thereafter. During his service, he deployed to Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom and is highly decorated. Some of his awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Achievement Medal among many others. SSG Connor also earned his Bachelors degree in Homeland Security and his Master’s degree in Homeland Security during his service. Since his retirement from the Army, SSG Conner spends his time volunteering in his community, and is in the process of securing his fostering certification to become a foster parent.
The Becker Family
Recipient Name: Alexus Becker

Hobbies: Drawing, writing short stories, flute, piano and playing sports
Goals: To be a medical doctor.
United States Army Staff Sergeant Wileen M. Becker served her country honorably for 10 years as a member of the Military Police Corps. During her service, SSG Becker deployed twice to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and was highly decorated. Some of her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, four Army Commendation Medals, three Army Achievement Medals and numerous others. After she was medically retired due to complications from an IED blast, she has earned her BA degree in Psychology, her MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and is currently working toward her Doctorate in Psychology.
The Jackson Family
Recipient Name: Rollin Jackson Jr.
State: Missouri
School: American University
Goals: Earn his degree in International Business and correct the economically pressing issues impacting our world.
United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Rollin F. Jackson Sr. served our country honorable for 30 years working as a field artilleryman. He deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism during his service and was highly decorated. Some of his awards include the Nay and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Marine Corps Reserve Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal among many others. Since his retirement, Lt. Col Jackson Sr. is an active teacher, coach and mentor in his community.

Folds of Honor provides scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military personnel and now also supports the families of America's first responders.
